Hello! Welcome to my blog!

I am Renae, mom of 4, widow, currently still single and not dating.( smile ).  I have known God all of my life it seems. My earliest memories are of being in church hearing my grandfather preach! I am from Kentucky originally , growing up in the heart of the Appalachian mountains. However, North Carolina has been my home for over 25 years now.  I love writing and have previously written a blog that covered the first year of my widowhood. I have 4 pets, 2 dogs and 2 cats and yes, you will probably see some blogs on them from time to time!  My other hobbies besides writing are reading, going to the park, exploring the beach for seashells, and visiting friends.

Life is truly a journey, one with lots of winding roads, bumps and bruises. Sometimes we lose our way and end up in a place totally unfamiliar and scary. But we don’t have to walk this journey alone. We have a friend who is more faithful than any friend on this earth. Jesus longs to walk by your side and His Word can be a GPS to point us to the destination where we need to be. It is my hope that my blog will share parts of my every day life and will entwine God’s extraordinary for you to experience as well!
